MUNAY-KI RITES
Universal - Timeless - Wisdom
Cared for and Passed on by the
Peoples of the Andes and the Amazon
MUNAY-KI RITES
Munay-Ki is a universal, timeless wisdom that Dr. Alberto Villoldo received from his mentors in South America. He modified the Rites so that they can be learned and shared by everyone!

Munay-Ki term comes from Quechua languages of the peoples of the Andes, and it means the "power of love". We believe that this is exactly what we all need, and what our world needs, universal love, compassionate, inclusive, and gentle.

Even though the Rites as we learn them today were gifted to Dr. Villoldo by the medicine people of the Andes and of the Amazon, the Rites hold energetic seeds universally nurtured by all our ancestors. Every culture on Earth has had healers, ones called to heal themselves and then support and guide others in their healing. They are shamans, medicine people, witches, curanderos, santeros, houngans, mambos, kahunas, swnw, tohunga, ngangkari, sangomas, doctors. Just like every culture has a name for a healer, each culture has initiations for one to become a healer.
The foundation Rites of Munay-Ki connect us to that ancestral wisdom, wisdom of healing. There are four foundation Munay-Ki Rites:
-
The Healer’s Rite
-
The Bands of Power
-
The Harmony Rite
-
The Seer’s Rite
The Healer's Rite of Munay-Ki awakens the Healer in us and connects us to the ancestors, the lineage of Healers that support and guide us.
The Bands of Power connect us to the 5 elements and help us cleanse and strengthen our energy field.
The Harmony Rite connects us to the archetypes, helpers from nature who join us energetically and help us recover our instincts for self-care and self-growth.
The Seer’s Rite expands our vision of ourselves and the world by connecting our mind and our heart, so we see with clarity and with love!

The Rite of the Womb is the 13th Rite of the Munay-Ki. It frees us from fear and suffering, and invites us to create in balance, harmony, and beauty. We are called to connect with our creative nature and let it guide us and give birth to our own creations, our own medicine!
The higher Rites of Munay-Ki connect us to heart-opening wisdom and guidance.

The Wisdomkeepers Rite

The Starkeepers Rite

The Creation Rite

The Daykeepers Rite connects us to the wisdom of those who are called to support their communities. The builders of communities committed to bringing people together to dance, be in ceremony, go to church, meditate, play sports, go hiking, birdwatch, explore nature and connect to our relatives in nature, charity event organizers, the silent ones to whom everyone goes for help, all those who feel called to bring communities together and nurture connection, support, and beauty.
The Wisdomkeepers Rite gives us opportunity to connect to the wisdom places from which we learn and expand our minds and hearts. The wisdom place is our true home, the place from which we grow our own longing and bring that longing to the world.
The Earthkeepers Rite is all the above, journey of personal healing, connection to all the communities around us, learning and listening to our places of wisdom, and seeing our world as one related to everyone.
The Starkeepers Rite invites us to elevate our minds and hearts from Mother Earth to our home in the Stars. As we expand our vision and our longing, we feel like children of the Universe, not bound by space and time but rather interconnected and informed by the greater community beyond Pachamama.
The Creation Rite reminds us of who we are in our true nature, creators of our own lives, our own realities, of our own destinies. It reminds us that everything that begins ends and is reborn again. We learn not only how to create with complete freedom from limiting beliefs and fears but also how to dismantle all that is not needed any more.

MUNAY-KI TRAINING
We share the Munay-Ki teachings in two ways:
-
Munay-Ki Finding Beauty supports our personal healing through the connection to the lineages and practices of the Munay-Ki rites. We will learn how to:
-
Transform our wounds into compassion and Munay (unconditional love).
-
Befriend our shadow.
-
Remember how to feel whole again and in ayni (the right relationship with ourselves and all of creation).
-
Expand our hearts from ME to WE.
-
-
Munay-Ki Stepping Into Service Training is focused on training participants to become comfortable with the attunement, gifting, and integration of all Munay-Ki Rites. Munay-Ki Journey of Personal Healing is a prerequisite for this training.

FOUNDATION CONCEPTS
The following resources are an overview on the foundation concepts of this medicine. We have all decided to take this Journey because we heard the call and answered it. The medicine of Munay-Ki offers us a path of personal healing and of being in service of healing of others. As we work with Munay, we journey from ME to WE, befriend our defenses, and clear our body, mind and energy field, to live in a right relationship with all within us and around us, in AYNI!

FOUNDATION PRACTICES
The foundation practices are tools that we use daily, or very often for our personal healing and maintenance of our physical, mental, emotional and energetic health, and we use them to help our clients heal themselves. We call them foundation practices because they are essential. We build all other practices on these ones. The following are the practices that we will develop throughout our journey.

FOUNDATION RITES OF MUNAY-KI
The foundation Rites of Munay-Ki awaken our inner healer, upgrade, cleanse, and balance our energy field, and connect us to the medicine people that guide and support us on our journey of personal healing. There are four foundation Rites.
-
The Healer's Rite awakens our inner healer and connects us to the medicine people of Hampe (healers).
-
The Bands of Power connect us to the 5 elements by installing powerful bands of the elements in our energy field to protect, cleanse, and balance our energy field.
-
The Harmony Rite allows us to connect to the wise animal spirits and guides that offer us their instincts to use until we heal ours.
-
And, the Seer's Rite installs energetic pathways on our head and connects them to out heart, allowing us to see with our heart.
