ABOUT
MEDICINE OF INTERCONNECTEDNESS
Medicine of Interconnectedness is an invitation to revisit our relationship with ourselves and everything around us.
Cambridge dictionary defines interconnectedness as the state of having different parts or things connected and related to each other. When we think of a relationship between two or more things, it is a connection. If there is a relationship between two or more relationships, it is an interconnection. Connection is a direct relationship between two people or things. Whereas interconnection is like a web of constant interactions.
We are inseparably interconnected with ourselves and with everything around us. That means that we are continuously building relationships with ourselves and everything around us.
The medicine of interconnectedness supports us in building those relationships, with ourselves, with all our relatives here on Earth Mother, the stone, plant, animal, and human families, with the Earth, and with all our relations beyond Earth Mother.
In our gatherings, we practice building these relationships. We learn to:

Open our hearts to communicate and be with love.

Expand our seeing to all aspects of ourselves and others.

Still our minds and become better listeners.

Become a witness, instead of being an activated and possibly reactive participant.
To achieve living life with a good heart, good mind, and good actions, we use practices such as:

Smudging Blessing, to honor our helpers and guides and cleanse ourselves on all levels.

Thanksgiving, to be aware, at all times of the abundance that we experience.

Setting intentions, knowing that we cocreate our own reality through intention.

Creating Sacred Space, to acknowledge, thank, and invite to cocreate with us, Guardians and Keepers of the Directions.

Resetting flight, fight, freeze, collapse response, to quiet our nervous and endocrine systems, to become still enough to listen and witness.
- Clearing and balancing our energy fields, to remove imprints, intrusive energies and entities that bring up unhealed stories in moments of activation and prevent us from being a witness.

Shamanic journeying, to connect and build relationships of interconnection!

Soulwork, to help our Soul Parts heal, support each other, and come into wholeness.

Munay-Ki Rites, to expand our hearts and minds, and build relationships with the lineages!

In such a way, we come into a place where all communication is easier, and our connection to ourselves and others grows to interconnectedness, a web of interactions with ourselves and all around us. In that respect, we become inseparable from all and see everything as an aspect of ourselves.
When we are aware of interconnectedness we can never be alone again, the world is a safe place, we are safe people, and trust, compassion, and understanding guide our lives.

Welcome, dear ayllu (community, family)!
We invite you to join us and cocreate with us our 1st annual Medicine of Interconnectedness Gathering!
The topic this year is the Sacred Union.
To be human is to live in duality, and find balance between the extremes.
Let us get together and find that balance between feminine and masculine and all the duality!
This year's topic:
SACRED UNION
of Feminine and Masculine, and of all duality!
As we were preparing for the Medicine of Interconnectedness Gathering this year, the topic of duality came up; duality describing two aspects of a single thing. Human beings constructed duality to make order of the world around us, love and hate, good and evil, peace and war, day and night. Knowing that everything in life exists with the opposite may be beneficial. It can prepare us for uncertainties and help us come to peace with undesirable outcomes.
Duality may also create an attachment to extremes and prevent us from embracing the opposite. This creates separation that makes it hard to achieve wholeness.
We can see many examples of separation in the world today. Feminine and masculine duality is one of the strong examples. When we think of the feminine and masculine, we are referring to the qualities that people consider to be typical of women or men, we are not referring to female and male which refer to the sex of humans, animals, or plants.
We invite you to join us this year in exploring this duality and finding wholeness in their Sacred Union!

What can you expect?
Medicine of Interconnectedness Gathering has already started, long ago, the moment we received the call to remember who we are and how we are inseparably interconnected to every single being, every single place of wisdom, and every single thing, visible and invisible, on this beautiful Earth and this beautiful Universe.
We are simply answering the call!
The Gathering will start in Zagreb, on Saturday, June 7, 2025 at 11 am.

We will gather at the parking lot in front of Pilana Bliznec, Bliznec 68, 10000 Zagreb on a road to mountaintop Sljeme.

In a pristine nature of creek Bliznec, the Earthkeepers Spirit Team will be offering:

After the ceremonies, we will have a late lunch in the restaurant Pilana Bliznec and then at 6pm (18:00), Brooke Medicine Eagle will offer:
On Sunday, June 8, 2025, you will have opportunity to receive a PRIVATE SESSION with Brooke, and spend some time sightseeing around Zagreb!
Monday and Tuesday will be reserved for travel to island Cres, and on Tuesday, June 10, at 5pm, 17:00, we will get together for an opening circle on the island. We will set intentions for the Gathering, start getting to know each other better, and share in Sacred ceremonies.
On Wednesday and Thursday, June 11 and 12, Brooke will guide us through the AWAKENING THE FEMININE WORKSHOP.
On Wednesday evening, Korana will offer a MOON SACRED STONE PEOPLES LODGE (Sweat Lodge) as an integration of the awakening the feminine teachings.
Friday, June 13, will be dedicted to AWAKENING THE MASCULINE, and on Saturday, June 14, we will enter the Sacred Stone Peoples Lodge to integrate the teachings of the Gathering and enter the Sacred Union, ayni, the right relationship with ourselves and all around us.
On Sunday, June 15, we will have the closing ceremonies and opportunities for final sharing and gathering.

MUNAY-KI RITES
AND THE DESPACHO OFFERING
Munay-Ki
Munay-Ki is a universal, timeless wisdom that Dr. Alberto Villoldo received from his mentors in South America. He modified the Rites so that they can be learned and shared by everyone!
Munay-Ki term comes from Quechua languages of the peoples of the Andes, and it means the "power of love". We believe that this is exactly what we all need, and what our world needs, universal love, compassionate, inclusive, and gentle.
Even though the Rites as we learn them today were gifted to Dr. Villoldo by the medicine people of the Andes and of the Amazon, the Rites hold energetic seeds universally nurtured by all our ancestors. Every culture on Earth has had healers, ones called to heal themselves and then support and guide others in their healing. They are shamans, medicine people, witches, curanderos, santeros, houngans, mambos, kahunas, swnw, tohunga, ngangkari, sangomas, doctors. Just like every culture has a name for a healer, each culture has initiations for one to become a healer.
Kisma Karpay or the Rite of the Womb
Kisma Karpay was gifted to Marcela Lobos as the 13th Rite of the Munay-Ki. She received it from a lineage of women who have freed themselves from suffering. This lineage reminds us that “the womb is not a place to keep fear or pain; the womb is to create and give birth to life“. The Rite of the Womb frees us from fear and suffering, and invites us to create in balance, harmony, and beauty. We are called to connect with our creative nature and let it guide us and give birth to our own creations, our own medicine!

Despacho
A Despacho is a traditional ceremony from the Andes, to bring us into Ayni, to give back to Pachamama and Spirit, the organizing principle of the Universe. The ceremony invites old energy to be cleared and new energy to come in. A Despacho is an interactive ceremony where all involved build together an offering using items gathered from the environment to offer prayers and intentions to Spirit.
We will cocreate a Despacho for the victims and perpetrators of the historical violence in the region (occupations, wars, witch trials, victims of social norms and rules …) and offer it to the running waters of the creek for transmutation!

Brooke will share indigenous ways of working with dance and drum to enhance your life and the life of All Your Relations.

Brooke will share a prophecy, ancient wisdom as it relates to our present time and the awakening future.

Indigenous cultures have long had knowledge of the time in which we are now living and have offered power-filled guidance for moving into a golden time in the highest and most graceful way.

She will lead you to sing and move in simple and powerful dance to actively honor all levels of radiant Life.

Brooke Medicine Eagle
PRIVATE SESSIONS
Brooke will offer private sessions in Zagreb on Sunday, June 8, 2025.
What to expect?
Brooke is interested in taking people from what is troubling or challenging them to where they wish to go and what they want to create for themselves. She uses clearing techniques to let go of the old, and to imprint into the consciousness the new which the person is moving toward. She sometimes does simple body work, and often sings, drums and rattles. She offers the wisdom she has gained, and commits her spirit in support of the person's wholeness.
Some of the healing practices include:

Luminous Body Healing in Inka Tradition to release unworkable personal, family, and karmic patterns.

Somatic work to release deep trauma and stress.

Rapid Resolution Therapy to improve brain’s way of processing information and to offer powerful transformation and clearing.

Counceling and mentoring to support person's highest dreams.
Private session goal is to move a person through challenges and lessons toward the ripening and sharing of their gifts to the world, and the abundant life that give-away brings in return. Together we will create sacred space and take a prayerful look at person's situation – staying open-hearted and receptive to what Creator brings to and through us.
In the end, we turn attention from the “problems” or challenges toward a positive, heartful vision of what is possible for and how one wishes to spend the energy of this precious life. We will step out of the cage of “good and bad” into the garden of that which is useful, beneficial, appropriate, timely and of service to oneself and the world.

AWAKENING THE FEMINING
Two days of Transformation and Manifestation, and awakening the Feminine!
Brooke will offer this workshop as part of the
Medicine of Interconnectedness Gathering on island Cres, Croatia.
What to expect?
We are in the time of the Arising Feminine, yet what does that mean for us personally? Since we were all raised and programmed in the last, heavy, oppressive days of the Patriarchy, we were not given the women’s mystery teachings that would have naturally come to us in times when the women were held sacred and the feminine was known for its magic and power.
This Feminine wisdom now returning to us is vital to our own health, well being and empowerment, as well as for manifesting the solutions and potentials necessary for our human family to continue on this Earth. Wise elders now tell us that this is the generation that will make the difference: either we will begin to live sustainably in harmony and peace, or the human race will become extinct by its own hand.
The birthing, nurturing and renewing power of the Feminine will make the profound difference needed. This power is centered in the twin infinity of the heart / womb connection, which you will learn begin to feel and use for your awakening and for service to All Our Relations.

ABOUT
SACRED STONE PEOPLES LODGE CEREMONIES
Stone Peoples Lodge is an ancient Sacred ceremony used by the indigenous and the earth-centered peoples, as a purification rite for the body, mind, soul, and spirit.
The name of the ceremony describes our relationship with the stone people who are gathered in a loving and respectful way, heated in a Fire ceremony and brought into the Lodge to generate heat and steam.
Sometimes, the Lodge is called the Sweat Lodge!
The ceremony involves building the Sacred Fire to invoke the Guardians and Keepers of the Seven Sacred Directions to be with us and guide us and to heat the stones. As we place the stone people into the Fire, we honor with gratitude, love and reverence our Sacred relationship with the stone people and their giveaway for our health and wellbeing. When stone people are ready, people come into the Lodge, and water is poured on the stones in a Sacred ceremony. In the heat and steam, we learn from this ancient wisdom and come into the
right relationship with ourselves and the world.

Building a Lodge is a community event through which we create loving relationships with each other, the land, stone people, plant people, Spirit and Earth Mother.
The Lodge is built through giveaway of the plant people. We go into the woods and share our intention to build a Lodge with the tree people. The young ones, the young saplings, who are ready to give away their lives to honor our Sacred relationship with their people, let us know that we can take their lives in a Sacred ceremony, with gratitude, respect and love. When the saplings are collected, we clear their bark and start the building ceremony. The stone pit is dug in the center of the future Lodge and an altar is created with the soil from the stone pit. The Fire pit is dug in the front.
Then, we start singing to the tree people, and gently and lovingly help them band to create the dome and the hoops of the Lodge. It is the most beloved and most mind and heart opening moment, this collaboration with the tree people and with each other!

The Lodge, the altar and the Fire pit create a Sacred pathway through which the stone people are brought into the Lodge. This Sacred pathway represents the connection between Mother Earth and the Creation. The Lodge is the womb of the Earth Mother build in a shape of the turtle, representing the wisdom of the Turtle and honoring the Turtle Island. The pathway leading to the altar is the neck of the Turtle and the Altar is the head. We go into the Womb of the Earth Mother and bring the stones as seeds of Creation into the Lodge to be cleansed, healed, and reborn again.
This Sacred ceremony is focused on the honoring of the forces that guide and support us, on prayers, and on respect to the traditions of the Lodge. This is profound physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual experience, that is transformational and life altering for all.
PRAYER TIES
Before entering the Lodge, participants create Prayer Ties, bundles made of cloth filled with tobacco or corn meal with tobacco. These medicine herbs are the Sacred medicine. Tobacco absorbs the prayers, and corn meal brings the feminine energy to balance them. Our prayers are blown into the herbs and the bundle is tied with a string. There are often multiple ties made in a series of 7 to represent the Seven Sacred Directions on one string holding our prayers. They can be offered to Great Spirit in Gratitude and for Blessings by burning them in Grandfather Fire, burying them into Mother Earth, placing them into the Waters, or hanging them for the winds and the element of the Air for transmutation.
A single Tobacco Tie is a square piece of cloth, usually red, folded into a tiny present containing tobacco or other Sacred herbs. A single Tobacco Tie is a nice gift for an Elder, Teacher, Fire Keeper, Ceremony Leader at a Sweat Lodge, Fire or Pipe Ceremony in gratitude for their service, medicine, and teachings.
The Sacred Stone Peoples Lodge Ceremony or a Sweat Lodge Ceremony starts days, or even months in advance.
The Spirits call us, inviting us to the ceremony.
The Keeper of the Lodge prepares the ground, cleans the Fire Pit, the altar, and the stone pit, gathers the wood, the covering materials, and prepares the stone people to be heated on the day of the ceremony.
Often, people choose to fast or cleanse in other ways to prepare physically, mentally, emotionally, and energetically for the ceremony. On the day of the ceremony, it is a good practice to eat little to nothing but drink a lot of water and electrolytes to stay hydrated.
THIS IS A WHOLE DAY EVENT, so prepare accordingly.
SUPPORT
The Sacred Stone Peoples Lodge ceremonies are community events. People of all ages are welcome. All the participants are supported by the Water Pourer, the leader of the ceremonies, the Fire keeper, Door keeper, by the organizers, and other members of the community. Every step of the ceremonies is explained and guided, and conversations are held on the steps of the ceremonies, and on safety and support as we build the Lodge and go though the events of the day.
These events are community oriented and ensure that all the participants are safe, loved, heard, and supported at all times!
Everyone is also supported by the invisible forces that have invited us to the ceremonies, and that we invite during Smudging ceremony, and creating of the Sacred space, the Creator, Earth Mother, Guardians and Keepers of the Directions, their personal guides, and guardians, and by the medicine people, Grandmothers and Grandfathers, keepers of this medicine.

The Sacred Union invites us to balance of dualities inside of us.
Feminine and masculine energies are described in many different ways throughout traditions and are said to be energies and qualities that we can all nurture within.
Pachamama blog describes healthy masculine energies and qualities as confidence without arrogance, rational thinking without a need to control, and honor without a desire for war. These qualities provide stability, strength, and courage. Healthy feminine brings a deep wisdom rooted in trusting one’s intuition and heart. It is a passionate, creative, and life-giving force. The true feminine supports deep heartfelt nurturing of all creation and the passing along of traditions from one generation to the next.
We will enter ceremonies, initiations and practices that nurture healthy masculine energies and qualities. Our hope us that we can go beyond the need to name these qualities feminine and masculine, and simply consider them human energies and qualities.

If you fly to Zagreb you will need to rent a car, or take a bus to Cres, or a train to Rijeka and then boat or a bus to Cres. If you fly into Rijeka, or Mali Losinj, you will need to take a bus to Cres.

DRIVING
If you are driving, you will need to take one of the 2 ferry routes, depending where you are arriving from. Brestova - Porozina ferry is on the Northern side of the Island, and Valbiska - Merag on the Eastern side of the island. Both car rides from the ferry to Miholascica are BREATHTAKING!
BUS
If you are taking a bus from either Zagreb or Rijeka, please take the bus for Mali Losinj because Miholascica is a small village ab hour ride from town of Cres on the way to Mali Losinj. You will exit the bus at a crossroads of village called HRASTA, and we will pick you up!
TRAIN AND BOAT (CATAMARAN)
If you are coming from Zagreb and want to explore the beautiful train ride from Zagreb to Rijeka, here are some links to help you. When you arrive to Rijeka, you will take a short walk to the main harbor where you will catch the boat (catamaran) for Mali Losinj. You will get of the boat in the Village Martinscica, and we will pick you up!

VISIT TO LOCAL HERBALISTS - "OIL HOUSE"

We will have an opportunity to visit the local herbalists, Irena and Guerino.

They grow, harvest, and work with local, some of which are endemic herbs to produce essential oils and hydrolates, soaps, and other items for personal wellbeing.

Irena and Guerino have offered us a workshop to share their wisdom and experience.

We will organize this workshop for all interested.
OTHER ACTIVITIES
BOAT RIDES
We will have opportunities to organize boat rides to the local Blue Cave, beautiful beaches, including one just under the cliff village of Lubenice, and to smaller islands Visoki and Zeca. These events will be organized based on the participants' interest after the training.
Griffon vulture (lat. Gyps fulvus) is one of the largest bird species in the world and the largest one in Croatia. They have a wingspan of 240 to 280 cm, a height of up to 110 cm, and a weight of 7 to 12 kg in adult birds. They are long-lived birds. They can live up to 40 years in captivity (less in the wild). Griffon vultures feed exclusively on carcasses of large and mid-sized mammals, and never eat live prey. They clean the ecosystem, preventing possible spread of certain diseases.
Griffon vulture is one of the symbols of island of Cres, an island of exceptional and well preserved biodiversity. Beli Visitor and Rescue Centre for Griffon Vultures is the place where you can find out more about the millennia-long coexistence of local people and griffon vultures.
Even though griffon vultures live in other parts of the world, the Kvarner population is unique in the world because these birds nest right above the sea, while in other regions they nest mostly in mountain areas.
Watching griffon vultures in flight is always a special experience. Flying mostly in groups and barely moving their wings, griffon vultures spend hours searching the terrain for food. They fly great distances with ease, and their appearance in the air or on one of the island’s cliffs can truly be breathtaking.
There are several marine mammal species that live or visit the Addriatic Sea, dolphins, whales, and Mediterranean Monk Seals. All marine mammals which live in the Adriatic Sea or only visit it at times are protected by Croatian laws and international agreements. They are endangered due to human influence on their habitats, pollution, over fishing and tourism. Any deliberate disturbing, catching, keeping, injuring or killing of marine mammals in the Adriatic Sea is a criminal offence punishable by Croatian laws with very high penalties and indemnities.
Current knowledge of the status of Cetacean species in the Adriatic Sea indicate that only the common bottlenose dolphin is regularly present in the entire Adriatic Sea. The striped dolphin, the Risso’s dolphin and the Cuvier’s beaked whale are present in different densities only in the southern Adriatic, while sperm whales occasionally visit the area. Fin whales are present seasonally in the central and southern Adriatic. The long-finned pilot whale, false killer whale and humpback whale present rare visitors to the Adriatic Sea. Finally, the short-beaked common dolphin, once present in the entire Adriatic Sea should be considered regionally extinct, as it is present only through either remnant or stray animals.
The Mediterranean monk seal (Monachus monachus) is on the Red List of Threatened Species of the Adriatic. The monk seal is the only seal species in the Mediterranean Sea and the fishermen in the Adriatic Sea used to call it morski covik (seaman). It was persecuted for centuries and almost exterminated because it destroyed fishermen’s nets. It was thought to became extinct in the Adriatic. In recent years, there have been sightings around Istria and Cres-Losinj archipelago. This gives hope that it will once again become a permanent resident of the Adriatic Sea.
Sea turtles are an ancient group of animals, inhabiting Earth for millions of years. Today they face many threats that cause their numbers to decline. Sea turtles cannot retract their flippers and head into their shells. Their anatomy makes them agile when under the sea but highly vulnerable when nesting and hatching. The sex of sea turtles, like other reptiles, depends on the temperature in the nest. Warmer nests lead to more females and cooler ones lead to more males. They can hold their breath for five hours underwater. To accomplish this mighty feat they slow their heart rate to up to nine minutes in between heart beats in order to conserve oxygen. Although turtles are cold-blooded, they regulate their body temperature by controlling the blood flow in the skin and fins.
There are a couple of turtle species in Croatia but loggerhead sea turtle (glavata želva), green turtle (zelena želva) and the leatherback turtle (sedmopruga usminjača) are the three main sea turtle species in the Adriatic Sea. The most common species in the Mediterranean and in the Adriatic Sea is the loggerhead sea turtle. They have been living in the Adriatic for a long time. This is where they feed and spend their winters. Scientists have learned that precisely the North Adriatic is the most important region for the loggerhead turtle in the entire Mediterranean. The greatest number of this species lives, matures, feeds and winters in the North Adriatic. After nesting and laying their eggs, they return to the Adriatic. So, it’s no surprise that their population in the Adriatic is quite large. Scientists estimate there are more than 20.000 sea turtles in the Adriatic. Surveys led by the Blue World Institute show that the main habitat in the Adriatic is the loggerhead, whereas the green turtle and the leatherback are quite rare.
